The practice of exploring, acknowledging and observing my Inner Landscape has enabled me to expand my capacity, increase my resilience, and shift patterns that are restricting me from achieving my goals. In spring of 2020 when I charted my Inner Landscape for the first time, I observed that these beliefs were holding me in place:
- If I do things that are important to me, then others will think that I am selfish
- If I stop and listen to myself, I will only find hidden negative feelings
- Accommodating others people’s perspectives is more important than mine
- My voice and views are not valid and don’t matter
- I need to be angry at myself or the situation to justify sharing my view or expressing my voice
- People only support me when I make them happy or please them
Now, in 2022, we have developed a method to visualize my Inner Landscape as a digital painting. The images below are how my Inner Landscape has been visualized:
You too can visualize your Inner Landscape at: innerlandscape.me
We are in the process of developing a proof of concept, so at this time only in person experiences are available, but I am in the process of developing a project to scale this experience for all.
