Our 21 year old kitty passed away in April. It was very hard on our entire family, especially my 5 year old daughter, Iselina.

My daughter is very creative and also interested in writing and telling stories, so I channeled her feelings into creating something fun to memorialize Mana the cat.

We chose some of our favorite photos, made them into illustrations and told the story of Mana's very special life, which is intertwined with the very special place we live.

It was therapeutic for me too!
